I was not slamming anyone's wife.  Nonetheless, I apologize if anyone took
offense.  I explicitly apologize to Paul and his wife.

It took me more than 15 years of careful argument to convince my wife to
register as a Libertarian.  I was rather proud of that.  My comment about
Paul was wrong and insensitive and I apologize.
